Night Out With Industry, 10/30/08!
SAVE THE DATE - October 30th NOWI at Walnut Creek Marriott
Please save Thursday night October 30, 2008 (6:30 - 10 pm) for our
sister association, Diablo Society of Health System Pharmacists' (DSHP)
annual Night Out With Industry (NOWI). This year's theme will be an
evening of Ghouls, Ghosts and Gambling at the Walnut Creek Marriott.
Come dressed the part and network with industry liaisons and fellow
colleagues. There will be a Continuing Education event, dinner (chicken dinner platter, or vegetarian), a cash bar, faux gambling and plenty
of prizes given away - "booo" sure to participate!!
CE Event: "Cardiovascular Risk Reduction" by Sian Carr-Lopez, Pharm. D.
Shuttle service available from Marriott to BART at 10 pm. Parking at the Marriott will be $4
At NOWI, usually up to 20 prizes are given away, with lots of raffle prizes:
You get to play "faux gambling" and your innings are exchanged for raffle tickets!
Most recently we have had:
- $100 giftcard to Nordstroms
- $50 gift card to ShellGas
- pasta dinner basket
- wine basket (only if 21 years-old)
- movie night baskets
- "day at the beach" basket
...just to name few!
Prize awarded to the best-dressed attendee!
