So, what can CSHP-Touro do for ME?
LEARN more about Health-System Pharmacist workplace/practice settings:
- Provide opportunities for students to become knowledgeable about various pharmacy practices and career directions through our expanded programs
- Provide students opportunities to serve the community through various student-run projects.
- Provide networking opportunities through our relationship with CSHP-Diablo and via attendance at state and national conferences
- Service projects in Touro's community: Berkeley Suitcase General Clinic and Berkeley Suitcase Women's Clinic.
- Clinical skills practice at the annual CSHP-Touro Clinical Skills Competition. Winners are sent to CSHP Seminar and ASHP Midyear Conference to compete against rival pharmacy schools.
NETWORK and share ideas with professionals that work at the health-systems throughout Bay Area. Mingle with thought leaders of the profession: CA Board of Pharmacy, industry representatives, lobbyists, and legislatures.
But what does CSHP, the statewide organization, do for me?
For being such a relatively small organization (~4,000 members of CSHP vs. CPhA's ~40,000), CSHP staff are remarkably helpful & responsive to student chapters' needs.
Members can attend the residency showcase at the annual meeting, CSHP Seminar.
